MPSC Case U-22041 – Proposed Fiddlehead Solar Project. The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) is currently reviewing Case U-22041, an application involving the proposed
Fiddlehead Solar Project / Hecate Energy Springport Solar, LLC.
The proposed 225 MW solar energy facility would be located within portions of
Springport Township, Hamlin Township, and Brookfield Township in Jackson and Eaton Counties.
Springport Township is providing the following information to ensure residents are aware of the opportunity to review the case and provide comments directly to the Michigan Public Service Commission.
Submit a Public Comment: Residents and other interested members of the public may submit comments regarding Case U-22041 through the MPSC E-Dockets system.
When submitting a comment, please reference Case U-22041.

Notice is hereby given by resolution of the Springport Township Board under authority granted in Public Act 81 of 2023, that the location of the early voting site for all federal and statewide election dates will be the following.
Location: Blackman Township: 1990 W. Parnall Road, Jackson, MI 49201
Dates: Nine (9) consecutive days before each election, ending the Sunday before Election Day
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily
This site will serve as an early voting site for all federal and statewide elections until further notice.
All qualified electors in Springport Township are eligible to vote early at the designated site during the times listed above.
